Marina Kelly is an interdisciplinary artist who designs situations that bring people together; creating intimate occasions, site responsive performances, live art tableaux, looping videos and sculptural installations. Marina completed her MFA in time-based art from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012 and has since worked as the Program Coordinator for The Creative Arts & Design Community (aka, The Studio) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also works as a freelance media artist and Interdisciplinary Arts Instructor.
Marina is a founding member of Dear Heart Dance and half of the artist duo, MYK.MAK with frequent collaborator, Megan Katz. MYK.MAK debuted a new public sound installation, Asylum, in May 2014 at the bicycle/ pedestrian underpass at Tenney Park in Madison, Wisconsin. A new collaborative intimate performance work, Helix Duette (a collaboration with musician and life model Ruby Tingle) was featured at ArtFunkl in Manchester in the United Kingdom in June, 2014. Forthcoming work includes Reverie at the Preservatif Exhibition in Milwaukee, Wisconisn.
